Gist of the Fix
Growing up in the 80′s, Chris loved science shows like Mr. Wizard’s World. Then he started going to and reviewing concerts, and eventually, the two combined into a curious fix that was hard to satisfy. So, in 2007, he created the former Live Exhaust Blog as a way to explore the psychological, physiological and sociological impact of our live concert experiences.
Then as the experiment expanded in 2009…
Live Exhaust became Live Fix and thus grew into a more developed and interactive “blogatory” mixing social media with live concert culture. Now, Live Fix is the central location where Chris conducts experiments of all sorts, filtering in the discussions he’s had with fans and artists as he explores a curiosity about the impact of the live music experience on our lives. 
Everyone’s welcome to join the conversation: fans, critics, scientists, artists, etc. And do understand that, though he did graduate with a degree in Media Studies, he doesn’t have an “official degree” of the sciences. You can consider Live Fix his way of working on a “masters” in cultural curiosity and experimental concert theory.
A few online laboratory rules
This is a place of fun, exploration and discovery, a place to give and accept challenges about live concert culture. All live music experiences are valued and highly important: past, present and future. Regardless of age, music genre, or how many concerts you’ve been to Chris wants to here about how live music is changing your life. It’s simple.
